A RUSSIAN ARRIVED FROM WINTER TO SUMMER TO PERFORM FOR THE RESIDENTS OF AN ISLAND STATE
On January 26, 2026, a meeting was held at the University of Colombo, located in the capital of Sri Lanka, between Russian traveler Viktor Pinchuk and members of the governmental organization “Sri Lanka Association of Geographers” (SLAG), where students of the university were also present.
A guest from a distant northern country, where snow lies in January, showed the audience a selection of photographs taken in Africa and Asia, focusing on Moscow and Russia. Geographers from other cities across the country joined via videoconference.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere. Not a single question was left unanswered.
